Categories duplicated

Each category is duplicated. This is web app. These seem to be solely from Instapaper and Readwise. If so, a lot of categories are missing. Question - if I delete one of the duplicates, will anything attached attach itself to the single category? Not a bug, but as a feature I would like to bulk color.
